Classic 6x6 medium format box camera manufactured in the mid-1950s for the Belgian brand Gevaert by Hermann Wolf in Germany. Built with a sturdy black textured metal body, it features an adjustable front lens ($f=10.5 / 1:11$), aperture selector (f/11 and f/16), shutter speed settings (B, 1/50, 1/100 s), a collapsible top optical viewfinder, and a fully removable internal chassis for 120 roll film. Interestingly, the Gevabox series was renowned in post-war Europe for replacing traditional cardboard box cameras with a rugged pressed-steel structure. Exhibits light edge wear and authentic patina consistent with age, offered as an untested historical display piece. An excellent item for vintage camera collectors or mid-century industrial decor.
