An elegant tabletop tube radio produced by the renowned brand Philips in the mid-1950s (c. 1952-1956). Features a sleek burgundy/dark brown bakelite casing, a vertical ribbed front speaker grille, and four ivory push-buttons. The original tuning dial showcases printed historical European radio stations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Monte Carlo, and London. The front panel retains its complete right control knob, while the left rotary potentiometer is missing its outer decorative knob, leaving the original metal shaft exposed. The rear perforated cover plate retains its original schematic diagrams detailing connections for external antennas, grounding, and record player input. A superb example of Mid-Century industrial design, perfect for retro audio collectors or as a distinctive decorative piece.
