The Lumière Eljy Club (1951) is an iconic French subminiature camera made of chromed aluminum. It features a collapsible Lypar f/3.5 40mm lens, allowing it to be reduced to a minimal size for easy transport, while offering the exceptional mechanical build typical of the Lumière brand. This piece is famous for its ingenious weather-based exposure calculator on the top plate. Its unique design produces 24x36mm negatives using unperforated 35mm film, achieving a much more compact size than the Leica cameras of its time.
