An attractive 1930s medium-format folding camera manufactured in Germany by the renowned Agfa company. This Billy Record model features a black leatherette-covered metal body with Art Deco chrome accents, an Agfa Anastigmat Jgetar f/7.7 lens, and a swiveling brilliant finder. Comes complete with its original brown leather carrying case embossed with the Agfa logo and matching shoulder strap. Interestingly, the Agfa Billy series was among Europe's most popular travel cameras during the interwar period due to its slim collapsible mechanism that easily fit into a coat pocket. Includes a vintage period film roll inside and remains in exceptional cosmetic condition with minor age patina (offered as an untested display piece). An iconic accent for photography collectors, vintage enthusiasts, or library styling.
