Vintage Clown Children's Alarm Clock

Details

A cheerful 1970s children's mechanical table alarm clock featuring a vibrant red-lacquered metal body. The colorful dial displays a playful clown illustration with a bowler hat and checkered trousers, complemented by rotating multicolor optical discs, white hands with luminous inserts, and hour numerals framed by small red stars. Driven by a classic manual wind-up mechanism with rear setting keys and knobs, it rests on two metal pegged feet with a top chrome shut-off button. Interestingly, 1970s novelty children's clocks were designed to make learning time fun by incorporating kinetic visual elements that spun on the dial face. Shows minor paint wear and light surface marks on the red metal casing consistent with age and period use, maintaining its vintage character intact. A nostalgic accent piece perfect for retro decor, children's nursery displays, or circus theme collectors.
