Charming antique desktop inkwell crafted in the late 19th to early 20th century from heavy, solid clear glass. Characterized by its spherical body decorated with dynamic spiral/swirl ribbing resting on a smooth, solid circular base. Fitted with an aged brass hinged collar and cap topped with a matching swirled glass finial. An elegant and visually captivating writing accessory. In very good antique condition, showing lovely aged patina on the brass and sparkling clarity in the glass.
