The hat is crafted from high-quality black silk with a lustrous satin finish, complemented by a matching grosgrain ribbon at the base and an elegantly curved brim. The interior features a high-grade lining with the golden stamp of the "American House" firm from Montpellier (France) and personalized gold-toned metal initials "J" and "R". It is exceptionally well-preserved alongside its original burgundy rigid cardboard oval hat box, whose lid features a grand golden heraldic crest from the "Manufacture de Chapeaux Mécaniques Perfectionnés de Paris", complete with original carrying cords.
