Rolleiflex camera, a classic in the world of photography.
We owe this camera to Reinhold Heidecke and Paul Franke, who decided to found "Rollei GmbH" in 1920. The brand's flagship product was undoubtedly the Rolleiflex, a machine that reigned supreme in the world of photography until the 1960s.
The Rolleiflex was characterised by its TLR (Twin Lens Reflex) system. This novelty consisted of a viewfinder with twin lenses. The lower one (Carl Zeiss) takes care of the exposure, while the upper one (Heidosmat) conducts the light to the inner mirror which reflects it to the focusing screen. The films used are 6×6.
Its advanced features combined with a very attractive design made the Rolleiflex a must for many professional photographers. Some of the most legendary photographs were taken with a Rolleiflex.
