Kodak Brownie Cresta Camera

Details

A charming mid-century medium format snapshot camera produced in England by Kodak Limited (1955-1958). Molded in ribbed black bakelite, it features a striped grey-and-white metal faceplate, a fixed-focus 'Kodet' lens, a top direct viewfinder, and a side filter switch. Designed for 120 roll film, it has a two-piece removable inner body with rear maker markings. Interestingly, the Brownie Cresta was a British 1950s favorite for making everyday point-and-shoot photography accessible to everyone. Displays light surface wear and minor patina consistent with age. An excellent addition for camera collectors or vintage displays.
