An industrial-style desk lamp inspired by mid-20th-century mechanical designs (circa 1940s–1950s). Originally created for workshops, architectural studios, and drafting tables, it was used to direct focused light over specific work areas thanks to its expandable scissor-arm mechanism. It allows smooth extension, retraction, and shade tilt adjustment. As a curious detail, the small ventilation slots on top of the metal shade are not merely decorative—they were originally engineered to dissipate heat from vintage incandescent bulbs.
