Sturdy and elegant antique desktop inkwell from the early 20th century. Crafted from a heavy block of clear solid glass featuring a built-in pen rest channel on the front. It retains its original removable inner glass insert for easy maintenance. The hinged brass lid is finely detailed with a bas-relief depicting a laurel wreath tied with a classical ribbon bow. Condition note: Has a chip on one of the top rear corners of the glass body (clearly shown in photos), reflecting its age and history while remaining structurally sound.
