A distinguished early 20th-century (c. 1910) mechanical alarm clock made in France by Primus. It features a nickel-plated metal casing, double top bells with a cast brass handle, and a golden Art Nouveau dial with floral motifs and embossed numerals. Operates via a hand-wound mechanical movement with original French-inscribed rear keys. Interestingly, Primus alarm clocks were renowned in the early 1900s for the powerful acoustic chime of their exposed central hammer. Displays a delicate patina and light wear consistent with age. An impressive decorative piece for horology collectors or vintage interiors.
