This antique lantern belongs to the prestigious French brand Luxor, a historical collector's piece designed to operate using acetylene gas (carbide lamp). The device features a robust metal body displaying a magnificent aged patina and is equipped with two striking colored faceted jewel lenses (green on one side and red on the opposite side) that served as position indicator lights. The upper protective hood is embossed with the brand name "LUXOR". The back retains its original mounting mechanism, attached to a solid wood display stand, which features a label at the top with the colors of the French flag and the inscription "LUXOR Acétylène".
