Antique French Book Stack Secret Bar Box (c. 1850)

Details

An extraordinary French table liquor cabinet dating from circa 1850 (mid-19th century), disguised as a stack of antique leather-bound books with gilded spine details. Opening the top lid uncovers a dedicated fitted interior holding a glassware and bar set, including a clear glass decanter and four metal shot cups. Please note that both the glass bottle and the metal cups are not original to the set. Stamped inside with "MADE IN FRANCE". Shows age-appropriate wear and minor marks from the mid-19th century that enhance its authentic antique patina. A charming decorative conversation piece for desks, libraries, or bar areas.
