Antique Agfa Silette 35mm Camera

An attractive mid-1950s 35mm film camera manufactured in West Germany by the renowned Agfa company. This first-generation Silette model features a solid chrome-plated metal body wrapped in black leatherette, an Agfa Apotar 1:3.5/45mm lens, and a Prontor-SVS shutter. Retains its period exposure guide sticker on the back cover alongside the Made in Germany engraving. Interestingly, the Agfa Silette line was a milestone in post-war camera design, introducing the smooth top-lever film advance to everyday 35mm photography. Preserved in remarkable cosmetic condition with authentic age patina, offered as an untested historical display item. A classic mid-century design accent for photography enthusiasts, collectors, or shelf styling.
